InnoFrugal 2018 Startup Pitching Contest In Partnership With EBAN Impact & FiBAN

The Nordic Frugal Innovation Society along with EBAN Impact & FiBAN (Finnish Business Angel Network) are partnering to bring you the Startup Pitching Contest at InnoFrugal 2018.

During the InnoFrugal Conference, 10 startups will be invited to pitch before a panel of investors who are looking for the most promising, affordable and impactful businesses to mentor and possibly fund. Startups can be under any B2B and B2C sector.

NOTE: We also encourage exceptional idea stage teams to apply for the contest.

The 10 selected startups will get a free exhibitor space along with 1 free ticket to attend InnoFrugal conference.

The InnoFrugal 2018 winner will be awarded 2 free entry passes & invited to pitch at the European Business Angel Network (EBAN) Annual Conference in 25-27 June 2018 in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Startups will have 5 minutes (plus 3 minutes for Q&A) to pitch their venture to a panel and a live audience on Day 2 (May 8th) of InnoFrugal 2018.

Startups wishing to pitch should sign-up by April 15th, 2018.

ABOUT EBAN IMPACT

The EIIC, ambassador of Impact Investing within EBAN, aims to pave the way to setting impact investing as the new standard of excellence.

EBAN’s Impact Investment Committee (“EIIC”) has been created to:

  • develop infrastructure for internal and external communication on the subject of Impact Investing;
  • create synergies and collaborative efforts to define best practice and improvements for EBAN members interested in this field;

ABOUT FIBAN

FiBAN is a Finnish, national, non-profit association of private investors that aims to improve the possibilities for private persons to invest in unlisted potential growth companies. The association’s work is based on the activity by private investors and cooperates with networks supporting high-growth goals.

The FiBAN network is one of the largest and most active business angel networks in Europe with over 640 approved members and 100 events annually. The three main activities consist of 1. Matchmaking of startup and investors, 2. Sharing of best practices and 3. Representation of the private investors’ interest.
